Out of curiousity, is there any relationship, as in a biological relationship, between Gallimimus and Avimimus? They are the only two dinosaurs that I know of ending with the "mimus"

Outstanding! So, John Locke also lives in Tarpit, Pangaea? Yet you imply that he also -- if not simultaneously -- lived in 17th century England. So many questions come to mind right now, that I fear I won't be able to ask all I desire to know (alas, though, is this not the plight of us all?).

What other humans populate Tarpit? Are they all such great thinkers? How do they get there? What sort of society do you have amongst yourselves? Amongst the dinosaurs? What are the mechanics here?

As you point out, the Avimimuses shared their views on human rights with Locke. However, did they suggest such applications to their own kind? To dinosaur society as a whole?

My, my. This so very intriguing. Perhaps when I have been able to sufficiently calm my racing brain, I'll be able to explore further and in a more focused manner.

It's not said often enough: Thank you, Dinosaur Joe.

My apologies for forgetting about that, Dinosaur Joe. I suppose in my fervor, I glossed over some things I already knew.

Is there any dissenting thought in the Avimimus community? It's hard to imagine an entire race, concerning themselves with political theory, being of a singular, united mindset. While prevailing thought is easy to swallow, I must question how great their intellects truly are if they all are unanimous in opinion.

THERES SOME DESCENT BUT THEY ALL AGREE THAT CIVIL RIGHTS ARE GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

John D. Moore said...

Do they agree, though, what "civil rights" means? In modern America, I'd be hard pressed to find people who believe that "civil rights" is an ill concept. However, there are many different (and sometimes quite despairing) notions as to what that entails, to what sphere it extends, and to whom such rights are necessarily guaranteed.

THEY AGREE CIVIL RIGHTS IS INTELLEGENT CREATURES GETTING RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111!!!! SORRY HETERODONTOSAURUSES THE AVIMIMUSES WONT STAND UP FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!11111111!!!!!

I don't remember asking that first question. Was that really me? It doesn't sound like me. It sounds like another jar.

PS - Is feces flinging fun for the flingers or those that are flung at? If I was the feces-flinger, it might be fun. But what if I was the feces-flung-at? In such a land does the feces flinging need to follow the prevailing thought of the avimimus to be fun? Or is a feces flinging society fundamentally following avimimus thought simply by existing? Fascinating!
