First of all, allow me to compliment you on your bold use of the tilde.

Second, I find the differences between the Labrosaurus and the Allosaurus to be intriguing. Admittedly, though obviously different colors, the resemblance is striking. Honestly, were I to meet one in the dark, I would be quite prone to calling it by the wrong name. Would this be offensive?

Of course, I trust that were I to witness one in action, the difference would be apparent. If one wielded a paintbrush, I could rightly expect it to be a Labrosaurus. If it were laying a cape across a puddle of mud for a female, I would recognize it as an Allosaurus.

What is the relationship between the Labrosaurus and the Allosaurus Considering their striking physical similarities, is there any tension? Between the chivalrous behavior of the one and the artistic temperament of the other, I can't imagine much in the way of confrontation from either. But some of our strongest emotions are those we never acknowledge.

Is it possible that the Labrosaurus is simply an Allosaurus that has painted itself a different color? With it's love of painting being what it is, combined with the obvious talent that this dinosaur has for the task, it seems very plausible that it could fool the experts by doing such a thing. Indeed, it would be its greatest creation to date.

A! Ars blurs our usual,
absorbs us. Our alar
loss a burabur as rural-sour
as a soul bur.

This has been an anagrammatic Labrosaurus hymn to art.

It's now Thursday afternoon. Though initially a little disappointed in the lack of updates since Monday, I've now had time to reflect upon the Labrosaurus further. I recognize that you were encouraging us to do what you always encourage us to do: Look closer. Think deeper.

What is really revealed in your text is but one more point on the many-spiked mace of our (human's) inadequacy and failings as a species. The soul of the Labrosaurus is the pure soul of an artist. True artists care not a whit for such temporal trivialities as money. However, the two greedy predators -- representing our species -- in the article, the "great" artists of our time and the lawyers, are more than content to dig up (figuratively and kind of figuratively, respectively) the corpses of the Labrosauri and wring them for every penny they can. The ugliness of our wanton self-interest truly sickens me. And frightens me. Am I not capable of the same?

Despite how stupendous it would be to resurrect a Labrosaurus, I feel that maybe we shouldn't bother. I can only imagine how seeing our world in its corrupt state would break its heart.
