Put that way, and now that I think about it, I suppose I've always felt a certain kinship with the Iguanodon. Curious that such a majestic beast is relegated to glass cages neglected in many a living room.
When I was a young child, I always amused myself by looking at its hands (paws?) as thumbs-up signals. Were I still seven years old, I would certainly agree emphatically that it is the coolest dinosaur ever. Of course, I still do.
I'm glad that iguanas have kept us from harming ourselves more than we do. Is there anything notable that we've avoided? It seems to be that many horrible things have happened in our history. Were it not for the subtle yet powerful warnings of these dinosaurs, I can only begin to imagine how much more awful our world would be.
