IT OFTEN SITS BY ITS NEST DOING NOTHING AND WHENEVER YOUNG DINOSAURS COME NEAR THE CHASMATOSAURUS'S NEST IT YELLS "HEY YOU LITTLE HOOLIGANS GET AWAY FROM MY NEST!!!" STUFF LIKE THIS HAS OFTEN MAD THE CHASMATOSAURUS A SUBJECT FOR YOUNG DINOSUARS TO LAUGH ABOUT!!!!!! YOUNG CHASMATOSAURUSES ARENT AS EXTREME AS MORE MATURE ONES BUT THEY DO TEND TO BE THE YOUNG DINOSAURS WHO SAY RANDOM INSANE THINGS AND ARE THE ONES WHO OFTEN ARE FOUND SITTING AROUND DOING NOTHING1!!!!!!!111111!!1 I LOVE TEH CHASMATOSAURUS AND IT LOVES ME. THIS KID ALSO LOVES THE CHASMATOSAURUS.

So, am I to assume that the Chasmatosaurus is not actually old-aged, but simply has an old-aged personality? Is this saying that personality is completely genetic, then? Does nurture have nothing to do with the equation? If an Ankylosaurus, say, was raised with the Chasmatosaurus clan, would it also become old-man-like?
Also, it seems from the picture of the kid that simply loving this dinosaur with great passion is enough to pass along not only old-man personality characteristics, but physical traits as well. The child looks to be near 90!~
I suspect that the behavioral quirks of the Chasmatosaurus stem more from cultural and societal tradition than genetic heredity, thus agreeing with the "nature" aspect of Yarjka's query. Naturally, I'm not exceptionally well informed on the subject. I think an even more interesting experiment would be to see what could happen to a Chasmatosaurus raised in a community of Ankylosauri (or any other dinosaurs for that matter!). Perhaps Dinosaur Joe would be able to shed some light on the curious subject of dinosaur adoption.

Once again, my whimsical fancy is crushed against the weight of Dinosaur Joe's superior knowledge (Oops! I almost said "expertise!"). So, when we read about the malicious or downright bastardly behavior of some of the great thunder lizards, is it that we can't blame them? If all behavior is in their genetic makeup, can we be shocked at the despotic behavior of the Gallimimus? Are we the same? Questions of good and evil get lost in the quagmire of instinct.
OF COURSE WE CANT BLAME THEM FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!! THEYRE DINOSAURS AND DINOSAURS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!1`1!!11!!
